Meeting of the Board of Directors of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical Companies of Moscow Region

Today, on September 22, the ordinary meeting of Board of Directors of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical Companies of Moscow Region was held in the headquarters of ENERGY Electrical Plant in Ramenskoye city. The meeting arranged by the Ministry of Industry and Science of Moscow Region was timed to coincide with the “Mechanical Engineer Day”, the holiday celebrated on September 25.

Discussed at the meeting were the results achieved by the industry in general and by individual companies during 8 months of 2011 and the issues related to technical upgrading of companies and training of young specialist. The meeting also discussed energy conservation and enhancement of energy efficiency of the industrial companies as well as compliance with the requirements of Federal Law No.261-FZ On Energy Conservation as it pertains to mandatory energy audits. A.B. Spirin, Manager of ESCMO Energy Conservation Center, made presentation on this issue.
