About Company
The restructuring of the Russian power industry has created preconditions for the rapid growth in the number of energy retail companies, leading to greater competition and more diverse services that, besides energy trading, include a whole array of services related to energy efficiency and energy purchase-related cost reductions.
About us:
Moscow Region Energy Retail Company (JSC) was established by the Government of Moscow Region and Mosenergosbyt JSC under the initiative for the liberalization of Russia's power industry with the goal of promoting the development of market relations between the wholesale electricity and power market (WEPM) entities (participants) and creating competitive conditions in the retail energy sector, as well as conditions for the development of a competitive electricity market where prices are not set by the state but formed on the basis of supply and demand, and whose participants compete by reducing their costs.
In its work dedicated to improving the quality of services provided to businesses of the Moscow region and other regions of Russia, Moscow Region Energy Retail Company (JSC) operates in strict compliance with the laws of the Russian Federation and its Charter. By being outside the system of state regulation of tariffs, the company is able to offer competitive prices for both electricity and power.
The founders of ESCMO (JSC) are: the Government of Moscow Region (49.95 percent of shares) and Mosenergosbyt JSC (50.05 percent of shares). The Company's charter capital is 200 million rubles. The state registration of the issue of ESCMO shares, which are distributed among the Company's shareholders, was held on August 28, 2007.
Our goal is to simplify the process of wholesale market electricity purchase for industrial enterprises and organizations. In just a few months, our company was awarded the status of a wholesale electricity market (WEM) entity and began active trading. Furthermore, the consumption volume of our customers was higher than those of other energy retail companies with many years of electricity market experience. The key factor of this success was the professionalism shown by the Company's employees working on the development and commissioning of automated electric power fiscal metering systems.
Automated Electric Power Fiscal Metering Systems (AEPFMS):
The main purpose of the AEPFMS is to measure the amount of power and electricity consumed by an enterprise in order to use these data for financial settlements at the wholesale and retail electricity markets.
AEPFMS monitors quantitative and qualitative indicators of energy consumption. This system provides companies with access to the wholesale electricity market and an opportunity to reduce energy costs and adopt more flexible tariff and pricing policies.
Modern Energy Trading Solution for the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM):
Modern energy trading is a highly competitive area of the wholesale electricity market, in which each energy retail company aims to take a better place. We differentiate ourselves from our numerous competitors in the WEM by placing customer centeredness at the heart of our business strategy. It is the focus on these priorities that allows our Company to grow and be successful.
We offer flexible payment schemes and the option to change the approach to the use of price premiums based on the conditions created by the wholesale electricity market. And since we are not subject to state system of tariff regulation (as most players who come to the wholesale electricity market), we are able to offer highly competitive prices. By contacting us on the issue of energy trading, you can expect to be offered a competitive deal not only in the area of payment settlement schemes but also in the area of equipment installation.
